Episode: 19 Captain Star: *narrating* Sometimes, a real bad character sailed into Bigg City Port. But on the day I’m remembering, no one suspected trouble. We were worrying about the high winds coming as fall was starting to arrive. Tug work would be difficult. *Ten Cents and Sunshine arrive in the port with a fuel barge* Sunshine: Hey, Ten Cents! A great dawn, eh? Ten Cents: Yeah. Don’t be fooled by appearances, Sunshine. You know what Captain Star says: "Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky in the morning, sailor’s warning." Episode: 18 Captain Star: *Narrating* It was a very busy time in Bigg City Port. There was a lot of work to be done as I told my Star Tugs about today’s job the following morning. Captain Star: Right, Star Fleet. We’ve got an urgent grain delivery to make. There’s got to be many grain being unloaded from freight trains. So Captain Zero’s Z-stacks will be helping you out with today’s job. *The Star Fleet groan* I know, none of you like the idea but it’s very urgent! Top Hat: Another job with those devious Z-stacks. What a big surprise! O.J: At least he won’t trap us with another tramper this time. Episode: 17 Captain Star: *Narrating* It had been a long hot summer. The tugs in Bigg City Port were longing for some cooler weather, especially Warrior. Who is, as usual taking the garbage barges to the city dump and the hot weather was making his work even more unpleasant than usual. So we was very pleased when I called into the Star Dock. Warrior: You wanted to me, Captain? Captain Star: Yes, Warrior. I’ve got an urgent job for you to do. Warrior: What job is it, Sir? I’m up for it! Captain Star: I need you to go and help Scuttlebutt Pete the Dredger. There’s a rush job on over at the old docks. Warrior: Yes, sir. Right away! Oh and what about Lord Stinker? Episode: 16 Captain Star: *Narrating* It was the year of the big heatwave. Old sailors like me will never forget it. Many incoming ships had sickness aboard and flew the yellow flag to show they needed medical examination for possible infectious disease. Now if this proved correct, they had to stay at anchor out of port and fly the checkered flag showing they were in quarantine for 40 days, and warning all shipping to stay clear. By 6:30 this morning it was already feeling hot, and tempers were getting short. *O.J., Top Hat and Warrior are outside the Star Dock* Top Hat: *sighs* If the sun gets any stronger today my varnish'll bubble for certain! *O.J.'s engine splutters as he sets off for work* O.J.: It's the longest heat wave I can remember. Captain Star: *Narrating* It was a cool crisp morning in Bigg City Port and I was giving out my orders to the Star Fleet. Captain Star: Good Morning, Star Fleet! We’ve got a busy morning ahead of us. All the work we have scheduled has to be done by lunchtime. He have to get that tanker load with cargo as quickly as possible! Top Hat: Just what we need, a rush job! *They all set off* Captain Star: *Narrating* The tugs chugged off in great haste to collect their barges. Sunshine: D’ya think we’d be able to have a break this afternoon, Ten Cents? Ten Cents: Well it would be nice. They will be sending more cargo to unload in the early evening.
